YOUR HOME SHOULD WORK FOR THE LIFE YOU'RE LIVING NOW

A growing family outpaces the layout of an older Brisbane home fast. A second bathroom, a bigger kitchen, a proper living space to breathe — the list keeps growing while the house stays the same. Living around the limitations gets old quickly.

We renovate the interior of your home to match how you actually live. Kitchens, bathrooms, living areas, bedrooms — every project is personally managed by Tomas from first site visit to final walk-through. Read about why construction momentum matters on every renovation job.

Kitchen Renovations

The kitchen is the centre of the home. We rebuild it around how your family cooks, entertains, and gathers — custom joinery, new layouts, stone benchtops, appliance integration, and full plumbing and electrical co-ordination.

To get a quote, a rough sketch or mud map of what you're thinking is enough. You don't need drawings or a designer. Bring your ideas and Tom handles the rest.

See how this played out on the Rochedale South renovation — full kitchen rebuild, butler's pantry, and study joinery under one fixed-price contract.

Bathroom Renovations

From a dated main bathroom to a full master ensuite — we gut the old, rebuild it properly, and finish it to a standard you'll still be proud of in ten years. Walk-in showers, freestanding baths, floor-to-ceiling tiling, heated floors, custom vanities.

A few photos of the space and a general idea of the look you want is all we need to give you an honest starting estimate.

Living & Dining Areas

Open up a closed floor plan, remove load-bearing walls, install timber floors, add a fireplace, or completely reimagine your living and dining flow. If your main living area feels dark, cramped, or disconnected, we fix the structure, not just the finishes.

A mud map showing what you want to open up or change is a good starting point. Tom will assess the structure on site and give you a clear picture of what's involved.

The Taigum full home renovation is a good example — internal walls moved, floor plan redesigned, and new flooring laid throughout every room.

Bedrooms & Master Suites

Upgrade your master bedroom into a proper retreat — walk-in robe, ensuite, feature wall, built-in cabinetry, or a full reconfiguration. Whether it's a guest room, kids' room fitout, or a master suite from scratch, we build bedrooms that are practical and well-finished.

Photos and a general brief get you started. No architect needed at the quoting stage — that comes later once we know the scope.

Our Renovation Process

Ballpark Figure & Phone Brief

Before booking a site visit, Tom works from a mud map or real estate photos and a quick phone call to give you a ballpark figure. This way we confirm the project fits your budget before either of us spend half a day on site.

Site Visit & Estimate

Once the ballpark stacks up, Tom personally walks the space, listens to what you want to achieve, and tightens up the estimate — no salesperson, no pressure.

Renovation FAQs

As a guide:

  • Bathroom renovation — $25,000+GST to $40,000+GST
  • Kitchen renovation — $50,000+GST to $100,000+GST (the upper end of this range allows for load-bearing wall removals)

Tomas provides a ballpark figure off a mud map or phone discussion first, then a fixed-price quote after the site visit — no provisional sums.

A standard Brisbane kitchen renovation runs 4–6 weeks from demolition to handover. Larger kitchens with custom joinery, stone benchtops, and integrated appliances can take 6–10 weeks depending on lead times. Tomas locks in a detailed timeline at quote stage.

No. A mud map, a few photos, and a brief description of what you want is enough to get started. Tomas walks the site, discusses scope, and gives you an honest starting estimate. Detailed drawings only become necessary if council approval is required (rare for internal renovations).

Yes. Farr coordinates every trade — plumbing, electrical, waterproofing, tiling, cabinetry, painting — with subcontractors Tomas has worked with for years. You get one builder, one point of contact, and one fixed-price contract that covers everything.

Depends on scope. Single-room renovations (one bathroom, one kitchen) you can usually live around with dust protection in place. Whole-of-house or multi-room renovations are easier if you can stay elsewhere for the noisier stages — Tomas will be upfront about which phases are disruptive.

Yes — QBCC Builder Licence #15176713 (verify on the QBCC website). Member of Master Builders Queensland. Fully public liability insured. Queensland Home Warranty Insurance is built into every project over $3,300.

Most internal renovations don't require council approval. Structural changes (removing load-bearing walls, altering plumbing locations, changing the footprint) usually do. Tomas advises at quote stage — and if approval is needed, we handle it.
