Brisbane, QLD — In Progress 2025
A large family in Taigum had outgrown a 1990s layout that no longer suited the way they lived. The home had good bones — but a cramped kitchen, a dysfunctional bathroom, a laundry with no real storage, and front bedrooms that didn't work for the kids. The brief was simple: gut it and make it right.
Tomas walked the property, understood the family's day-to-day, and put together a plan that moved walls, added storage, and transformed every key room — without them having to leave the suburb they love.
Every room that wasn't working got fixed. The bathroom was completely gutted and redesigned — bath relocated, new vanity, new everything. The laundry gained a tub sink, full cabinetry, and stone benchtops. The kitchen was redesigned around a large walk-in pantry to free up bench space for a busy family.
In the bedrooms, an internal wall was moved to give one of the kids' rooms a meaningful size boost. Three new built-in wardrobes were added across the bedrooms. New hybrid flooring was laid throughout the entire home — including every bedroom — tying the whole transformation together.
